MozyConnect backup for Cisco Smart Storage is being discontinued.

Effective November 1, 2013, MozyConnect, cloud backup for Cisco Smart Storage NAS devices, will no longer be offered. We will continue to provide the service for those customers that have previously purchased MozyConnect through the end of May 2014. No service renewals will be possible.

When will my MozyConnect service stop working?

Your service will continue until May 31, 2014. If your subscription expires before this date, then your service will terminate on your subscription end date. (I.e. if you purchased a two-year subscription in March 2012, your MozyConnect service will terminate on March 2014.)


What will happen to my files that have been backed up to the cloud?

All files will be deleted from Mozy servers after termination of service. As you retain the primary copy of all of your files, you should have access to all files that have been stored secondarily in the cloud.

Need to log in to your account?

You’ll still be able to log into your MozyConnect account through the login button at the top of this page to access any account related information through May 31, 2014.


I would like to continue backing up my data to Mozy. Is that still possible?

Yes, Mozy continues to offer services to back up your desktop/laptop or server through our MozyHome or MozyPro solutions. To thank you for being a MozyConnect customer, all existing MozyConnect customers will receive a one-time 50% discount off of these services if you choose to create a new MozyHome or MozyPro account.
